Perennial Care Specialist

Hoffman Landscapes, Inc. is seeking an experienced professional for a Perennial Care Specialist position. The Perennial Care Specialist will work with homeowners of distinctive properties throughout Fairfield and Westchester Counties. All candidates are required to be self-motivated, solution-oriented, and have a strong work ethic and positive attitude. You will need strong knowledge of perennials and annuals.

Responsibilities:

* Designing and planting containers/pots for each season throughout the year.

* Planter/garden maintenance

* Monitoring health of all plants/perennials (staking when needed, cutting out dead, etc)

* Weeding of beds if needed while visiting a property

* Basic pruning

* Mulching

* Small plant installation

Qualifications:

* Proven experience in horticulture, landscaping, or a related field
* Strong knowledge of perennial/annual plant care and maintenance
* Ability to identify plant diseases, pests, and other common issues
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well independently and in a team
* Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions
* Attention to detail and a passion for plant care

Pay rate: From $20/hour depending on experience
